AUTUMN AT TRENTHAM LAKE IN STAFFORDSHIRE
Even in the madness that we are now (2020) living in, there are somethings which can bring a moment or two of lightness and enjoyment. Today, (4th November) was such a day. Tomorrow we begin our second 'Lockdown', be it less restrictive that the last one, we can only pray this will be the last one, but that will be up to each of us to abide by the rules.
Thinking that Trentham Gardens would be closed during this 'Lockdown’, I checked the web site and managed to get a slot to visit and take a walk around the lake. Thankfully on checking with the staff I was pleased to hear that Trentham Gardens will be open during this lockdown, but visiting will still be by appointment, (see their web site: www.trentham.co.uk to book a slot).
So, with the sun shining, I set out for my walk around the lake, a perfect late Autumn day. Here are some of the photos taken today showing the shades of autumn in its glory. There is no text with the photos, let them speak for themselves. Hope you enjoy them and stay safe.
